Drawings...recently completed...

This police badge is done and ready for shipment...

This is what was said in R.W.'s correspondence for her order:
My husband is retiring this Friday after 30 years with the ..... County Police Department. When I saw your drawings, I knew we had to have one made for him! It is the most amazing thing I've ever seen!!! I've taken 2 pictures of his badge - 1 is the whole thing and the other is a close-up of the top. The top has an eagle holding what looks like a ribbon in it's beak. Pictures are attached.
I would like some calligraphy but am not sure what at this point. Suggestions? I am so excited about this - it will be a perfect gift for him! And while he's retiring this Friday, his official retirement date (and retirement party) isn't for a couple of weeks so I think this might arrive in time!

Congratulations & thank you to R.W's husband's 30 years of service & dedication to keeping their community safe. (I was asked to not show the county name). (Started on July 8th, after confirming all information, and ready for shipping today, July 11th, but post office closed before being able to get there... I'll be mailing it out on Monday :o)

This is the following message that came with the monogram order:

This is beautiful... a perfect 1st anniversary gift since tradition gift is Paper!!!...
Thank you so much! I am so excited and cannot wait for it to arrive!

Happy 1st Anniversary!
The monogram drawing was ordered on June 30th, and after confirming all the information, I was able to mail it out on July 2nd.

Thank you both for your orders :o)

Blessings & Aloha!

A few more of my photo treasures that I have found...

On my last post, I showed one of my favorite photos of my mom and that I would be putting up a few more of her (there's many more, but here's a few)...

...in the Philippines, about 23yrs old.
(such a cute figure!)

...in the Philippines, love the up-do & her dress.

...in Wisconsin (love my mom & dad!)

... on one of our vacations in Northern Wisconsin. (we had to really convince my dad to take this old-timey style photo... thank goodness, we didnt have to sit for hours like they had to do in way back when.)
top row: my brother, Leo; my hubby, Mr. B; me
second row: my sister, Megan; dad, mom, our daughter, theluckiestmrs.
third row: our daughter, littleMiss; our son, heartbreaker
*taken in 1992*

How great it is to have pictures to remember by and even through a picture, we can learn a little about the person. My mom was always so giving! And she always made sure everyone was taken care of and felt at home. She had so much energy and was always doing something...quilting, crafting, volunteering, cooking, baking, gardening, and on and on and on! (I would love to have half the energy she had :o)

Blessings & Aloha!

McKLinky Favorite Photo... and also, one of mine.

***The McKlinky Blog Hop is such a great way to meet other bloggers! Thank you to all of you that have stopped by and left a comment to say hello!

This week is: A FAVORITE PHOTO -share yours and tell a little story behind it... come on an join in! and I hope you take a peek at my other posts and photos.

As it is for everyone... wow! how hard to pick just ONE favorite photo. But this one I am posting is one of my beautiful mom.... she is about 25 or 26 yrs old here in 1965. I do miss her so. It has been 5 years and still so hard to realize that I can't just pick up the phone, ask her advice, tell her how everyone here is doing, tell her I love you... I'd love to just be able to hear her voice. I am blessed knowing that as a believer in Christ, I look forward to being with her again.

Be sure to let your love ones know how special they are!

(I'll be posting more photos that I have of her in my next post)

Blessings & Aloha!***
