Yellow is...
Cheerful sunny yellow is an attention getter. While it is considered an optimistic color, people lose their tempers more often in yellow rooms, and babies will cry more. It is the most difficult color for the eye to take in, so it can be overpowering if overused. Yellow enhances concentration, hence its use for legal pads. It also speeds metabolism. Yellow is...my childhood favorite color.
(me at 2 and 1/2 yrs old in the Philippines)
(me with my mom and dad)
(my mom in her sunny yellow capri leggings)
(my mom in a cute little yellow shift dress)
(with my grandpa...I'm wearing a little yellow romper eating a yellow banana popsicle)
And even when I was a teen...yellow still was my favorite color.
I had one of these:
It's a chirping yellow Woodstock - Snoopy's little sidekick.
Even before I could even drive, I thought how cute would he be hanging from the rearview mirror of a little Yellow VW bug!
& last of all here is a little video of some photos clips of my high school graduation... Our school colors were Black & Gold... :o) I thought I would add this since my graduation gown was yellow.
These are not yellow drawings, but these are the most recent ones that were completed and sent off.
This one of a dolphin and the ulua is to be given as a gift to beloved grandparents.
I'm joining in with:
Jenny's
&
Alicia's
These are not yellow drawings, but these are the most recent ones that were completed and sent off.
The first 3 drawings were ordered by the same customer in Hawaii.
Thank you so much for thinking of these as gifts. She just got them in the mail and sent me this in her email:
"I got the drawings today...so HAPPY!!! They turned out GREAT!!!! Thank you so much. I will definitely let you know how the recipients like them...though I am sure that they will love it. I showed some people (including my mail lady) the drawings and they were amazed. Keep in touch!!"
This Brazilian headdress is for the other grandma.
& this one was taken from a photo of her handsome sons.
This drawing with some added color was ordered by another customer in Virgina, to be given as a gift to a little girl.
Thank you for thinking of this as a welcoming gift to this little one.
She also got hers and sent me this email:
"...Got it yesterday -- the condition of tube and artwork is excellent. The angel looks great.
Thanks much!"
