PersonalizedSketches Grand Opening Giveaway!!

Many of you are past customers and old friends and so you know all about Personalized Sketches.

For those that are new to the artwork that I do, let me tell you a little about Personalized Sketches.

The complete image is drawn using ANY name.  I personally draw them with a fade-proof ink on 70lb acid-free art paper.  ANY name can be used to draw ANY subject. (I will be posting other drawings that I have done, in the days ahead). Click onto this photo and see the last name "KRAHLING" written throughout the image of the eagle.

I have been doing these drawings for over 25 years.  I have had orders to be given as thank-you, retirement, military farewell, birthday, shower gifts. Every occasion.  One of my wonderful repeat customer orders a drawing to give as his signature gift to his friends getting married, over the years.

I've done at least one or two shows a year, where I display and then take the custom-order. However, like I mentioned in my “Bit about me” posting, I have recently graduated from a Dental Hygiene program.  With the intensity of the program, I chose not do any shows this past year. (So, again, thank you to the many loyal, repeat customers for keeping me busy).

I love, love, love to do these and it is so great to hear back from someone or come across someone that has received one of these as a gift.

So, I am very excited and looking forward to this new adventure into the world of Etsy and blogging.

Now here’s how to win the Grand Opening giveaway:

The winner will get an 8x10 eagle like shown in the past two posts.  It would be a perfect birthday gift.  I will draw it in the name that you choose. (This is for the drawing only, matting and framing are not included. All drawings are carefully shipped in a sturdy mailing tube.)

·       1. Leave me a comment on this blog post (you don’t need to have a blog or be a blogger to do this!, but this enables me to view your email and get in contact with you) = one entry

*just to clarify: the following additional entries are for those that have left a comment. Please leave a comment, in order to be eligible to receive additional entry/entries.*

·          2. Follow my blog = one entry

    ·  3. Write about this giveaway in YOUR blog (post…link me, please) = one entry

This giveaway will be open for entries until Friday, June 19th at 11:59pm EST

*UPDATE added on Sun, 7 June @ 7:40 EST*   (some of you that are talented/skilled at handling and posting on more than one blog/site *wow-I salute you :o)* ...so if you link me from each separate blog or site, that is another entry. example: 10 separate sites that you own & that you mention and link back to me, that's 10 entries. I'm doing this, cuz to me, that takes skill! So, those of you who have already done so, I have seen your blogs, taken note and added those entries.)

The winner will be announced on Saturday, June 20th here as well as by email (so please leave me a valid email address. And I will need to be in contact to get the name to be used for the winning drawing.) I do not sell or give out email addresses.

I will immediately start on the drawing as soon as winner is notified and confirms what name is to be used.

All entries are recorded, numbered, and time stamped as they are received. Giveaways are open to the U.S.A.

Blessings & Aloha!

Maria

Hi Maria! Welcome to blogging! I got your email and excited that now I can send people to a website when they inquire about the various pieces you've done for us. I think I'd already told you, but I posted pictures about the Texas piece here: http://roseprincess.blogspot.com/2008/10/one-of-kind-live-my-husband.html.
I still have to get the teacup one framed, but have shown it to so many. The piece you did of the 2-4 crest was well loved as well and I was glad to pass your name along! It was beautiful and the commander's wife cried when we gave it to her. I look forward to following your blog, and if you want pictures of the Texas one, just shoot me an email!

Linda, Thanks :o) I am amazed too. getting this "art show" is taking much much longer to set up than the traditional method of pack up, drive, unload, set up, take orders, break down, etc...

haha... this is how many days??? and still working on listing!

(Oh, also, which Linda is this and email me, so I can have your email to notify you if your name is drawn.)

It's was me, Maria, aka Bing!

I'm so new at this. I thought it would have like my name & picture. You may even have two replies. I guess I should take classes like you.

haha! sorry about that-Dave said that it was obvious to him! (but I honestly thought it possibly could have been one of my customers).

And yep, classes on blogging 101 would have been very helpful! Let me know when you get your own blog!

*and yes, for anyone reading these comments-my family nickname is "Bing"... I like to think of it like "Bing Cherries"...mmm love those things!*

Maria,
So glad to see your site. I look forward to sharing it with our friends and family. My brother loves his helicopter print from Christmas 2 years ago, and I'm trying to figure out what to do for our children. I'll keep working on it and let you know for sure! Thanks again for your beautiful work!
