Blessed because He LIVES!

Hope you all had a wonderful weekend!

I am  joining in this week's  Alphabe-Thursday's "B" with Jenny!

Although our family is scattered physically, living in various states, we are so thankful that no matter the miles between us...our love is forever connected and brings us together in thoughts and hearts.

While our children were able to spend a wonderful day at our son-in-law's parent's home to celebrate the resurrection of our Lord Jesus Christ, Dave and I were blessed to spend the day at the beautiful home of our dear, dear friends here in Georgia.

It was fun to be there with their children and their 10 grandchildren!

Here are some past "1st Easter" photos...

My hubby's 1st Easter... with his big brother, who is 14 months older.
~Hilo, Hawaii~
Their mom sewed a lot of their outfits, although these matching ones was sewn by one of their dad's sisters.

Girly~Twirly's (aka theluckiestmrs.)1st Easter
~Hilo, Hawaii~
This was taken in front of Mr. B's parent's home.

Girly~Whirly's 1st Easter. I sewed the girls dresses and the bonnet and hairbow.
~Ft. Walton Beach, Florida~
This was taken when we went to visit Mr. B's uncle, aunt, their daughter and granddaughter.

Heartbreaker's 1st Easter.
~Schofield Barracks, Hawaii~
It was a beautiful, sunny day...the little tshirt dresses, I drew a little bear, bunny and racoon on with fabric paint and sewed the bottom to create the dresses and Heartbreaker had the t shirt with the little racoon drawn with fabric paint.

We have so many other past Easter photos, but thought I would share just a couple more:
I love that Mr. B's mom sewed the matching shirts and the dresses. Love the matching colored purses and shoes that his mom and sister have. (Mr. B's 5th Easter)
~Hilo, Hawaii~

Here we are also in Mr. B's parent's home...about 22 years later :o)
I was pregnant with Heartbreaker. (That dress made me look Humongous!!)

**********
And then these were taken this past weekend with our dear friends (B & T) after church.

These are the desserts that I made to bring to their home. The cute bird's nests I tried from Lorraine's recipe.. There also was the Strawberry pretzel dessert, the Chocolate Krinkle Cookies, and the pretzel turtles.

They have a gorgeous home.
This is one of their beautiful grandchildren helping bring some of the amazing food prepared by B.

And here are some art orders recently sent in the mail...some of the recent winners of the recent giveaways on my blog and my facebook. I will be posting more after they have been received. I love to do these and appreciate everyone's interest.  I'm very blessed that I am keeping busy with so many great requests for the art that I do.

"I have received the wonderful gift you made for me and I am amazed at your talent!  I plan on purchasing a mat and frame to display it in my home.
Thank you so much!  I will always think of you and your sweet family when I look at this lovely and inspirational drawing."

Thank you, Lorraine!

This eagle was drawn for Michelle's military hubby.

"OMG! OMG! I won! Yeah! Woohoo! ... o.k. I've got it out of my system. What info do you need?"

She sent me this quote of General Douglas MacArthur's to add to it.
Thank you Michelle for also being a wonderful repeat customer!

And this monogram...
"Maria, I am so excited!!! What info do you need? Just let me know:)"

Thank you Amanda for also being a past customer.

Thank you for your visit and comments! I love to find that you have been by and will be sure to return your lovely visit.

I do believe you married your "sweetie" Dave, at a very young age. You both look nice then, but time has definitely made all of you more lovely and handsome. You know I never tire of seeing and learning about your family. I am glad there are so many others that appreciate your work.

Oh, those sweet Easter pictures made me smile. I love the one of pregnant you in that giant dress. You look so sweet and excited about the baby! It's so neat to read how you've sewed your kids outfits. Did you save them? I have a few things I sewed for the Grands when they were small and I have them boxed away.

What a lovely Easter you had with your sweet friends as well. The treats you made looked delicious.

This was a beautiful wrap up to a fun week of Alphabe-Thursday's journey through the letter "B".

I'm glad you made it!

A+

Oh how I've missed visiting you lately. As you know, I went back to full time work. Now I understand why it's hard to do a blog post daily like I used to do. So, I'm slowly catching up.

I love your old photos from Easter pasts. And I think you look beautiful in the current photo with your friends. I may have to check out the recipe you made. Thanks for the link.

Sending you a blog hug,
Debbie
