Parachuting!

AAAHHHH!!! Ahh-mazing!

 Parachuting son (Heartbreaker) and...

...his girlfriend (Sweetie) and her brother, cousins, sister and grandma (this was her grandma's second jump!!!)

Last Saturday...this adventurous bunch went up, up and away!

Sweetie is ready to Rock!

& Heartbreaker is ready to Roll!

Here Heartbreaker jumps out...

& free falls...

Loving every moment!

...Still so high above the ground!

Parachutes into the gorgeous blue, white fluffy cloud filled sky.

 & safely on the ground!

..and ready to do it again!

Whoohoo! for the brave souls that do and accomplish adventures like these! (Um...I think parasailing or zip lining would be the most adventurous thing that I would try...what about you?)

...I am blessed and so thankful for the Lord's protection over our children...no matter where they are!

Joining in
...with Jenny's  Alphabe-Thursday's "P"
...and with Mel for Fancy Friday.

((())) ((())) ((())) ((())) ((()))

Here are a couple past Parachute-related drawings done for two more adventure, thrill seekers :o)

...running behind on my return visits from last week! But will be sure to catch up with you all, this weekend!

very cool pictures! I could never do it, I'm terrified of heights...I think I'd have a heart attack if I even tried (and I'm not making light of a heart attack, I srsly think it would happen!).

Your "heart breaker" is definitely that. I bet he nearly drives the girls crazy just by looking at them. Never would I do that. I have to admire the grandmother, but not me. Great feature. Be sure to drop by for Pink Saturday this week.

Wow.....that is exciting...and how about that grandma up there with the rest of them. WooHoo!

The only way you would get me to jump would be a gun to my head or many many drinks under my belt....many drinks...

Wishing you and yours a pinkishly beautiful weekend.

Great pictures. That looks so scary. I don't think I would be brave enough to do that. Good for him!

WoW! Way to go, Grandma!
Your photos & sketches are great, but I think I'll keep my feet firmly on solid ground. Just glad everyone made it safely back to earth!

Lovely post. Thanks for sharing.

That looked so amazing. I would never have the guts to do that. Well perhaps when I was younger if given the chance. My friend just gave her daughter this gift for her graduation. They taped it, and it was incredible to watch.

Great shots, Maria. They sure are brave, NOT me! I tried parasailing once to accompany AJ b/c she was still underweight and I was screaming and so nervous the whole time. Never again! LOL...Christine

Beautiful photos Maria Sweetie...
I saw your comment on another blog and had to pop over and see the photos. WOW...I wouldn't have the courage to jump, I would be terrified, but your sweet boy sure is having a grand time isn't he? Just look at the expression on his face? Priceless.

I am so tickled to have found you. I have scrolled through and found some of the most beautiful sketches I have ever seen. You are such a talented artist my friend. Just beautiful. I love the sketches of the Hawaiian babies, now that one just stole my heart. How precious.

I am your newest follower, I can't wait to see what you share next. Your talent amazes me totally. I can't draw a stitch, but love art. I hope you will stop by and say hi. I would be honored to have you follow my blog as well. I love sharing. Have a beautiful weekend sweetie. Country hugs from Phoenix, Sherry

Maria, wow, what great photos!! Your son is very handsome, and his girlfriend and her family are so brave!!! How did you take the photos, were you in another plane? Thanks for stopping by and for your nice comments. I am going to read some more posts. xo,

What wonderful photos! But I am wondering who was taking them? They must have been in the air and had such a steady hand! Your son is brave, but he must take after his father, your husband was an aviator? My husband always wanted to go gliding, but the closest he comes is flying his remote controlled one! Your blog is very lovely and you are such a talented artist!

Oh my! That made me dizzy just looking at the photos. I've zip-lined and that was enough for me!

I absolutely know I would never do that! Nope, I'm not that adventurous. Those pictures are amazing, and so are your drawings.

Hello Maria, it is a pleasure to meet you. This post is inspiring but I am sure I would not do this. (jump out of a plane). HA!

I checked your previous posts and loved reading your story of your marriage. Precious photos of you both then and now. You are still a very good looking couple and obviously in love all these years.

Your art is very different and clever. I loved seeing your interesting ideas in art for a certain event etc.

Thanks for your visit to my blog.
Hugs, Jeanne

Gulp.

I had to read this post with my eyes closed...the whole fear of falling thing.

Or is that the fear of heights thing?

Or is that...

Oh heck...

I'm just gonna watch your amazing son fall out of a plane.

And did I mention...

GULP?!?

Thanks for a perfect link for the letter P.

A+

Your son is brave!!! Those photos were amazing of him up in the sky! What an awesome way to really take in all of God's creation! Someday, I'll do that. For sure.

Beautiful drawings! You are very talented, indeed!

They are very brave.... I have a personal fear of doing ANYTHING that could kill me if it went wrong! I could NEVER jump out of an aeroplane!!! NEVER. I'm a chicken.
