G is for our Georgia home...

Georgia...

The military brought us to the beautiful area off the Georgia coast in 2004.

We have taken so many, many photos since we first moved here,
but I decided to share some photos that show our Georgia home being built
and some of the events during when it was built.

...and the next slideshow of our home is one that I had on a past post...
(so some of you may have already seen this, but I thought it would be fun to see the "after")
Friends... the welcome mat is set out to greet you.
Come on in...

Since this slideshow was first done, we have done a little furniture changing/rearranging...

**********
Also...thank you again for everyone's thoughts, prayers, support during my dad's surgery and hospital stay.  He was able to go home Monday.  And he has family that will be taking turns to stay for the next several weeks. My hubby and I will be able to go up the week of Thanksgiving.

I've done other state inspired drawings, but since this is a "G" post...
here is a drawing of the state of Georgia.

And here are some of the latest orders that have been completed and shipped out.
Thank you to all those that participated in my Giveaways a few weeks back.
These orders are from some of those winners and what they have to say.

Wishing all the best to your son in his decision to go into medicine.

"Very well done and a perfect gift for my son."

And I hope your grandson enjoys his dragon :o)
"Looks great, and I know my grandson will love it."

There are some other orders to share,
but I'll wait until they receive them in the mail, before I share them here.
And I am working on some more.

Oh! I also want to extend a big thank you to Veronica from Of Mice and raMEN
for featuring me on a recent post!
I love to see what fun things she finds!
So to be amongst some of the unique and creative finds out there,
I was honored and humbled.
Thank you for picking out some samples of the art that I do.

I'm so glad to read that your dad is on the mend. I'm sure he'll be very happy to see you at Thanksgiving and you'll be relieved to be able to give him a hug!
I have visited my aunt in Hinesville, Georgia and wonder if it is anywhere near to where you live.

Hi Maria, I am visiting you back from a moderate life. thanks so much for your visit. I am now following your blog. You are a wonderfully talented artist! My daughter is applying to art schools for college right now, so I know how difficult it is to get this kind of detail and quality. All the best! Alex@amoderatelife

Maria, your home is just beautiful. Stunning, really! Tell Mr. B I'm so jealous of his lawn skills! If only I could get mine to look half as good! ;)

As always, your drawing are breathtaking. I can sit here and just study each one, thinking "How in the world?... Man she's got talent!" Great job!

I am glad your post is usually toward the end.

It is always one of my favorite wrap-ups for a week of AT.

And this week is no exception. Your lovely photos and artwork are always a joy!

As Tony the Tiger would say, "You're GGGGGRRRReeeat!"

As I would say...

Maria, you have a beautiful house! I am so amazed by the drawing you did for my dad! My mom told me it was beautiful, but I hadn't seen a picture of it yet. I can't wait to give it to him!!

Have a great weekend, friend!

Oh and just a funny thought - of the drawings you posted here, one is with my last name, one has my first name, and two of the drawings are with my brother's names - John and Todd. I hardly see anyone with the name Todd!

Isn't that crazy that they all ended up in this one post??! Haha!!
