"INDIGO..."

...as in "In dey go...into the packing box!"

This was a photo that I came across of our three (Girly~Twirly, Girly~Whirly and Heartbreaker) when we were stationed at Schofield Barracks, Hawaii. (Jan 1992) Girly~ Whirly is making sure Heartbreaker is saying "Cheese" :o)

Ah! Aren't the imaginations of children fun?  A simple box...becomes a spaceship, a boat, a cave, an awesome ride...

Here is a more recent photo taken this past May at our son-in-law's Medical School Graduation.

Mr. B, me, Girly~Twirly, our son-in-law, Girly~Whirly, Heartbreaker

I'll be able to get more pictures of our family together, since my hubby and I will be driving
(well...he drives and I sleep...or quilt...sleep...or crochet...sleep...) 12 hours to see our Girly~Whirly and Heartbreaker and then continue another 3 hours with Girly~Whirly and Heartbreaker to visit our Girly~Twirly and her hubby in their new home.

...so...won't be able to reply to any of the wonderful comments left, until we return back home next week.

*I had such a hard time deciding what to post when it came to this color!*
 ....as I continue on

Jenny's Alphabe-Thursdaymeme
and of the colors of the Rainbow.

So...although not really showing anything with the actual color "Indigo", here's my spin on it... :o)

And I am keeping this post short and sweet! Amazing! If you have been a past visitor to any of my previous posts, my posts being short...why, that's unheard of!!! haha

I just sent this off on Monday. This customer is a long time customer and friend. I cannot even count how many she has ordered over the 10 years! Many have been for graduation and baby gifts; however, she has ordered quite a number as wedding gifts.  And her son has grown and begun giving the art I do as wedding gift, these past couple of years.

*****
The next two were ordered by another wonderful, repeat customer :o)

Her husband is deployed and this will be given to him when he returns.

This one is for another in their unit that is also deployed and returning soon.

"....The pictures came and are great!  Thank you so much! ...I am sure I will be requesting more sketches in the future.....they are great!"

*Reminder*

...on my upcoming 100th post,
I will be doing some giveaways
relating to the Personalized Sketches art.
Thank you for stopping by!

Weren't you clever! I like your use of the word "in dey go." You're so right...kids have always liked playing in large, empty boxes. Actually, I've found that cats like them too. Very nice drawings. I guess the church was for a wedding present? Have a safe trip!

In dey go...what a fun, fun link to Rainbow Summer School's Indigo!

Kids will always use a box to fire up their imagination.

And I will always use one of your posts to make me smile!

Thank you!

Travel safe. And catch up on your ...umm... quilting and crocheting. Maybe you can sleep sew!

A+
