Green eggs and ham...

Green eggs and Ham!

Wonderful, silly, imaginative, rhyming, good ole Dr. Seuss!
Our 3 children all had the infamous "Green Eggs and Ham" Day at school.
Have you, your kids or grandkids ever had "Green Eggs and Ham"?

I couldn't find the photos of them on the days their classes did this!
But here are photos of them during the years
that they did this "remarkable, fun, crazy" day.

Actually, first, I am posting 3 kindergarten pics of our oldest-Girly~Twirly of her 3 different kindergarten schools! Well, Girly~Twirly started kindergarten while my hubby was finishing flight school at Ft Rucker, Alabama.

Then we lived at Mr. B's parents on the Big Island of Hawaii, until we got military housing on Oahu. So, Girly~Twirly went to:
Waiakea-waena in Hilo, Hawaii.

And finally, once we got our military quarters on Oahu:
Hale Kula Elementary on Schofield Barracks, Oahu.

Girly~Whirly also went to the same kindergarten when she was 4yrs old.
She was and often is the youngest in her class.

This was actually taken at the end of the school year for Heartbreaker.
He loved his teacher :o)

I had thought to do a repost of St. Paddy's day here in Savannah.
...instead "Green Eggs and Ham" popped in my head!

But if you have a wee bit of time...
...please do pop over HERE  to my past post for quite a bit more GREEN!

Once again...here are the most recent drawing orders shipped and received.
These all happen to be in celebration of weddings. :o)

This first one was sent to a wonderful fellow blogger for her son's wedding.  Jules and her family are from Australia.

She left me this message:
"I got one today and it is totally fabulous i think you are amazing and i am sure my son and his new bride are going to love it.Its something so unique and such a keepsake thankyou for the time you took and the extra mile you go for a customer.I have 3 more sons to get married yet so you may meet me again.
hugs
Jules"

This one was actually for my sweet cousin's wedding. I used the same style lettering that was on their wedding announcement, and took the curly swirls that were part of the embossed shapes on the announcement.

She wrote this:
"I love the art work! So neat, thank you!..."

(Wish we were able to be at their wedding).
I got a msg from my sister who was a part of the wedding party:
"...Just wanted to drop a note saying EVERYONE loved your gift to Kelli & Todd :) its was def a hit!"

 <><><>
This order was from one of our daughter - Girly~Twirly's-  dear friends from dental school. It will be given to her husband's sister that is getting married. Her fiance is an architecture and they renovated their home, from which this was drawn of.

This was in her email:
"I received your package! IT IS BEAUTIFUL and PERFECT! We were so excited that we had it framed last night too :) We cant wait to give it to them this next week. You are incredible! Also, The package came in perfect condition-sealed, no dents, no water damage. Thanks so much. I really appreciate your hard work and getting it to us so quickly."

I want to share two more photos...

This is when our son was leaving to drive back to college.

(and he's wearing his green Waikea-uka baseball cap :o)

&

This was what I came home to find after a long day.
(Ok, the Kit Kat isn't green, but the pillow shams in the background and parts of this beautiful rose has green :o)  ...it was a "just because" surprise from my hubby :o)

<><><><><>
OH!!!  Goodness! One more thing... No GREEN here, but I am excited to share that I have been featured on my sweet blogger buddy's awesome blog!  Kathie is one of the first friends that I have had the honor to meet in this Big fun world of blogging!  She is amazingly creative and if someone were to ask who is a blogger that is helpful and encouraging...you would not have to look far!
Thank you Kathie for featuring me on your lovely PINK place :o)
Please take a peek at her "NOW FEATURING" post...

*Reminder...on my upcoming 100th post, I will be doing some giveaways relating to the Personalized Sketches art.* Thank you for stopping by!
(This post started out short! Truly! Thanks for hanging on to the end! :o)

Well, I used to know Green Eggs and Ham by heart almost. My favorite book as a kid and I read it to mine too. I loved the house drawing for the architecture. I wish I could take classes on how to do this. But, I can tell you are just a really good artist...drawing well. I love to paint but draw...not so much.
It was neat seeing your son small and grown in the same post.

I think your children might be the most beautiful I have ever seen.

Even more lovely than my Grands which is saying something.

You are all so photogenic in your family.

Tell us the truth. You are a super-model in your spare time, right?

I'm going to run over and read your feature but before I go...

Thanks for a cute link to Rainbow Summer School for the color Green!

And I am not a big fan of green eggs and ham...

But I love the book!

Thank you for linking.

A+

Sorry I am a little slow on my comments lately. That is what happens when you get older. I love this post as usual. You are still putting out wonderful art work. I do not know how you work at the dental office, do all this art work and sill have time for your family and a blog. I visited where you were featured. That was certainly a very nice thing. She picked the right one for this. You are very deserving. Thanks for your visit.
